Now accepting new students

Math that finally makes sense.

One-on-one tutoring built around how you think — from multiplication tables and SAT prep to calculus, linear algebra, and graduate coursework. We don't just find the answer; we build the intuition behind it.

How we work

An easy way to learn hard math

Good tutoring isn't about being the smartest person in the room — it's about creating the right room for each student. That's where real learning starts.

Meet you where you are

Every session starts from your actual footing — no assumptions, no judgment. We find the gap and close it.

?

Understanding over memorizing

Formulas are forgettable; the reasoning behind them isn't. We work from the 'why' so the 'how' takes care of itself.

Rigor with clarity

A background in philosophy shapes how we teach proof and argument: precise, logical, and genuinely clear.

Flexible & on your schedule

Online or in person, one-off exam cram or a steady weekly rhythm — sessions fit your goals and your calendar.

About the tutor

Twenty years, one subject, deeply

Mathematics has been my whole career — as a student, a doctoral researcher, University lecturer, and for two decades as a tutor. I've sat with fourth-graders learning their times tables and with PhD candidates grinding through algebraic topology, and I've learned that the same thing helps at every level: patience, and a genuine belief that this is learnable.

A minor in philosophy alongside both degrees taught me to care as much about clear reasoning as about correct answers — which turns out to be exactly what most struggling math students are missing.
